The Councilor for Citizen Security, José Luis Ruiz Guillén, has detailed that "of the total, the 129 corresponding to non-compliance with the use of the mask stand out; 81 complaints about the protection of citizen security, including the consumption of alcohol and narcotic substances in the public thoroughfare and another 60 for not respecting the traffic restrictions through the urban area ". The Councilor for Citizen Security of the Lorca City Council, José Luis Ruiz Guillén, has taken stock, this morning, of the actions carried out, during this past week, related to the non-compliance of the sanitary measures to prevent the spread of Covid- 19. The mayor of Citizen Security has detailed that "this past week, between October 5 and 12, a total of 329 sanctions have been filed, of which the 129 for non-compliance with the use of the mask or wearing it incorrectly stand out; 81 on the protection of citizen security; 60 for not respecting traffic restrictions in urban areas; 34 for meetings of more than six people; 14 for violation of the Citizen Coexistence Ordinance (throwing out the garbage outside the permitted hours, urinating in the street, noise and neighborhood annoyances); 6 for breach of the number of occupants in vehicles; 4 for breach of the quarantine period; and one for smoking on public roads without respecting the minimum distance of two meters.

Also during the past week a total of 84 controls;914 people have been identified and 1,406 vehicles have been controlled ". José Luis Ruiz Guillén has detailed that there has been "a rebound with respect to the violations of the previous week (250), in addition to an increase in sanctions on the protection of citizen security, up to a total of 81 complaints, among which five stand out for the consumption of narcotic substances on public roads this past weekend, and also small groups of people consuming alcohol on the street "and has thanked, in this sense," the citizen collaboration of the neighbors who are committed to correct compliance with sanitary measures and that have allowed some parties that were taking place in homes, causing the corresponding noise and inconvenience to the neighbors.

" Regarding the sanctions that correspond to last weekend, Ruiz Guillén explained that "between October 10, 11 and 12, a total of 54 controls were carried out, 502 people and 913 vehicles were identified.

have filed a total of 237 complaints, of which 86 are due to the non-use or incorrect use of the mandatory mask; 61 protection of citizen security; 49 complaints for not respecting traffic restrictions in the urban area; 23 complaints for meetings of more than 6 people; 10 for violation of the Citizen Coexistence Ordinance; 4 for breach of the quarantine period; three for non-compliance with the number of occupants in vehicles; and one for smoking on public roads without respecting the minimum distance of two meters.

" Ruiz Guillén stressed that "the number of sanctions has increased compared to last week, taking into account that this week had a public holiday and the intensity of police controls has been maintained to guarantee compliance with said sanitary measures, with those that manage to bend the curve of coronavirus infections in our municipality and we continue to insist on pedagogical work to make the population aware that we cannot destroy all the efforts made so far and that we cannot destroy due to the irresponsibility of a small group of non-compliant citizens ". Finally, the Councilor for Citizen Security has reiterated that "in addition to all the actions related to the coronavirus, the Local Police of Lorca continues to attend to ordinary questions that have resulted this past week in the arrest of two people and up to a total of 25 complaints sent to the Provincial Traffic Headquarters, related to traffic infractions.

A commendable work of the agents for the correct fulfillment of all the sanitary norms and to preserve the safety of our neighbors that I want to highlight once again ".
