The Minister of Transparency, Participation and Public Administration, Beatriz Ballesteros, met today with the Deputy Mayor and Delegate of Emergencies and Civil Protection of the City of Lorca, Isabel Casalduero, to discuss the shared management that is maintained by the Lorca Emergency Base North-Zarcilla de Ramos.For the construction of these facilities in 2008, the Community invested 746,000 euros.
It is a base that houses municipal emergency services, services of the General Directorate of Natural Environment and the General Directorate of Citizen Security and Emergencies.
Likewise, one of the four helicopters of the regional Administration and the Helicarrier Brigade that are part of the device of the Emergency Civil Protection Plan for Forest Fires in the Region of Murcia (Infomur Plan) is based at the facilities.During the meeting, Ballesteros explained that “there was also a positive assessment of the interventions at the municipal level of the Infomur Plan, the Plan for Surveillance and Rescue in Beaches and Rescue at Sea (Plan Copla) and the Territorial Plan for Civil Protection, in time of high danger ”.
