The Councilor for Development of the City Council of Lorca, Isabel Casalduero, has announced the start of the works to improve the pavement of Selgas Street. Casalduero has reported that "next week, the Lorca City Council will undertake the action of provisional paving in Selgas street.

The action will begin once the administrative process is finished, which began last October 5 with the request for offers to different companies ". The mayor explained that "the works include the beginning of the street, in the Plaza de España, until its confluence with Granero street, a section with a total length of 200 meters in which the existing paving stones will be raised, in an area of ??690 square meters, which will be transferred to municipal facilities to conserve and relocate them in the aforementioned street when it is fully renovated.
