The mayor of Lorca, Diego José Mateos, has reported that the necessary land has been made available to the Community for the execution of the improvement works on the RM D-8 highway, between the Aguaderas and Campo López councils. Mateos explained that "the Lorca City Council Government team has always considered essential the need to fix the RM D-8 Highway that communicates the Aguaderas and Campo López councils.

Some works for which it is necessary to have several adjoining lands and of which the project, previously approved, did not include.

Therefore, we have taken to the Municipal Plenary, this morning, a motion to carry out the expropriation of this set of lands, necessary to carry out the conditioning of the road ". The Mayor has detailed that "this expropriation, which has been unanimously approved by the Ordinary Municipal Plenary for the month of October, allows meeting the need to undertake the conditioning works to adapt to road safety conditions and being of great importance for municipal interests the Aguadera and Campo López highway ". Mateos Molina has reported that "with this approval the appropriate expropriation procedures of the described lands are initiated so that, as soon as possible, said lands are municipal property with the aim of making them available to the General Directorate of Roads so that the aforementioned works are undertaken on Highway RM D-8 ". The mayor of Lorca has indicated that "this expropriation project, carried out by the joint appraisal procedure of the lands, necessary for the execution of the works consisting of the conditioning and improvement of Highway D-8 in the municipalities of Aguaderas and Campo López ". "A one-month public information period is now open for those who may be interested in making any kind of observations and, later, it will be published in the Official Gazette of the Region of Murcia, BORM."
