"Those in charge of collecting the awards were: Patry Bermúdez, director and organizer of the Sepor National Fair, for the 'Sepor de Oro Special Mention'; representing the Livestock and Solidarity Project, for the 'Solidarity' award, Fran Saura and Rebeca Clavería, coordinators of the same; representing the economic and commercial offices of Spain in the People's Republic of China, recognized in 'Export and internationalization', Carlos Tórtola, economic advisor; on behalf of AENOR, awarded in the category of 'Animal welfare commitment', David Verano, director of Agri-food Industry and distribution of the company; and César Lumbreras Luengo, for 'Communication and dissemination'.Next, Fernando Fariñas Guerrero, collected the award in 'Investigation'; by Opp Group, in the category of 'Innovation', received the award Joan Sanmartín Suñer, CEO; Margarita Arboix Arzo, for 'Commitment to the sector'; in representation of the Spanish Confederation of Manufacturers of Compound Food for Animals, winner in 'Associationism', Fernando Antúnez, president of CESFAC; by the Costa Food Group, awarded in the 'Production' category, Jorge Costa, CEO of the group; and finally, on behalf of the Cándido Family, in the category of 'All a life', Cándido López, director of the Mesón de Cándido.The national Sepor de Oro awards are organized by the Marevents communication agency and the Sepor Fair, with the collaboration of the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food, the Government of the Autonomous Community of the Region of Murcia, the City of Lorca, as well as the most representative interprofessional organizations of the livestock sector (Interporc, Provacuno, Interovic, Inprovo), the Agrifood industry (Foro Interalimentario), and the Cartagena Port Authority; and with the sponsorship of companies such as GreenCo2, Trouew Nutrición, Setna, Semen Cardona, Jisap, Grupo Fuertes, Caixabank and sectorial media such as Editorial Agrícola or Murcia Economía.A large part of the companies in the sector at the national level were represented at the gala, the vast majority of prestigious multinationals, as well as the most relevant interprofessional associations in the country, led by Esperanza Orellana, general director of Agricultural Productions and Markets of the Ministry of Agriculture , Fernando López Miras, president of the Autonomous Community of the Region of Murcia, and Diego José Mateos Molina, president of the Governing Council of Sepor and mayor of Lorca.
