With a total of 83 proposals, the young socialists from Lorca have presented a battery of proposals aimed at improving the situation for the youth of the municipality.The Secretary General of Socialist Youth, José Ignacio Pérez, presented on Thursday afternoon a series of proposals aimed at improving youth conditions in the municipality.
These proposals are aimed at reaching all fields that may affect Lorca's youth, from housing, to equality policies, through proposals to improve the educational area.This project began in April through meetings with different associations and youth groups that were contributing their concerns and points of view.
These meetings are joined by the Plan to rescue a forgotten generation of Socialist Youth in the Region of Murcia, from which the Lorca group has taken different measures at the regional level.José Ignacio Pérez presented this document to different members of the party's executive, the Youth Councilor, José Angel Ponce, and the Mayor of Lorca, Diego José Mateos.
This presentation highlighted "the delicate situation of youth, because the exceptional situation that we are experiencing leaves youth in a vulnerable situation for the present and the future."The Secretary General of Socialist Youth insisted that "the youth of the region are not receiving any type of protection or support from the regional government in educational or labor matters" and preserved that "the General Directorate of Youth of the Autonomous Community of Murcia that we do not pay for the broken dishes of the pandemic the same as always ”.Through this document, the Socialist Youth intend to put on the table the most transversal points that the youth of the municipality have to face and the possibilities that there are to face them
