This advantage that the citizens of the city of Lorca enjoy without hardly realizing its importance, however its lack greatly limits the quality of life and therefore the habitability of the residents of our Lorca districtsFrom Somos Lorca we propose that the fiber optic network of the municipality of Lorca be extended through its districts, especially those with a higher population density.In the times in which we live, intimidated by the Covid-19, Lorca has to adapt to the changes in the needs that have occurred, where the use of the internet has increased notably, either to facilitate communications, or to adapt the work environment to the home.The fiber optic installation would make a notable difference when it comes to internet speed, in addition to being one of the technologies that offer this service more efficient and with less interference.Likewise, since there are municipal offices in different districts of Lorca, we urge the City Council to take the fiber to these, since we understand that it is a municipal expense, for the creation and / or improvement of infrastructures, endowments, facilities and equipment related to the provision of municipal services, in the same way as the installation, expansion or improvement of public lighting networks, etc.

And in this way the neighbors could also benefit from seeing the fiber installed.
