A total of 34,451 people visited the San Clemente and San Cristóbal cemeteries last week on the occasion of the All Saints festival (02/11/2020)

The Councilor for Citizen Security and Local Police of the City of Lorca, José Luis Ruiz Guillén, has taken stock, this morning, of the influx of people who have registered during this past week at the different cemeteries of the municipality on the occasion of the festival of All Saints. The Councilor for Citizen Security has indicated that "the total number of people who, during this past week, that is, between Monday, October 26 and Sunday, November 1, accessed the two cemeteries in the urban area was 34,451, in 29,764 specifically for San Clemente and 4,687 for San Cristóbal, according to data collected by the Local Police ". José Luis Ruiz Guillén has detailed that "the day that the San Clemente cemetery registered the most influx of people, during the past seven days, between 8 and 18 hours, was on Thursday, October 29, when this cemetery received the visit 7,860 people; the 6,348 people on Friday, October 30; the 5,520 people registered on Wednesday, October 28; a total of 3,296 people and the access of 536 vehicles yesterday Sunday, November 1, All Saints' Day; 2,780 people on Friday, October 31, as well as the 3,960 people counted between October 26 and 27, Monday and Tuesday of last week ". As for the San Cristóbal cemetery, the busiest day, as explained by Ruiz Guillén, was last Wednesday, October 28, with an influx of 1,350 people; followed by Saturday, October 31, when 964 people visited him; 948 people on Thursday, October 29; 800 people and 67 vehicles, yesterday Sunday, November 1, between 9 am and 6 pm; and 625 people last Thursday. The mayor of Citizen Security has also referred to the influx that has been registered in the different cemeteries of the districts of Lorca, with the presence of 2,737 people on Saturday, October 31.

And some noteworthy data referring to this Sunday, November 1, such as 768 people and 324 vehicles registered, between 8 and 18 hours, in the Morata cemetery; 636 people and 179 vehicles, in the same time slot in Ramonete, and 276 people and 120 vehicles in the Almendricos cemetery. The Councilor for Citizen Security has highlighted "the good behavior, once again, of Lorca and Lorca, who during this past week have gone to the different cemeteries of the municipality, on the occasion of All Saints' Day, to visit their loved ones dear ones and they have done so without crowds and complying with and respecting, at all times, the security measures, since this registered influx is what we would have had in a normal celebration on All Saints' Day, without the pandemic situation that we are experiencing.
