The mayor of Lorca explained that "this change in the budget amounting to 1,220,000 euros, which will be financed through the subscription of a loan, but that if the use of the remaining treasury is finally approved, this financing will be replaced initial for that remainder.

" Diego José Mateos has highlighted that "the intention is to obtain sufficient credits to carry out actions that are essential necessary for our municipality, and that have been requested by the residents of the neighborhoods and districts, and that will result in in their own well-being.

" The Mayor has referred to the game that will be available, which will be over 40,000 euros, destined to the start-up of the Local Police headquarters in the San Cristóbal neighborhood, a very necessary action and that cannot wait more, so we include it again together with this set of actions that are positive for the municipality and for which we hope to have the support of municipal groups to move it forward, since we understand that, regardless of ideologies, we must knowing how to agree on issues as essential as these that will benefit the residents of the neighborhoods and districts ". Diego José Mateos has detailed that "an item worth 190,000 euros is included for the transfer of the transformers from the Plaza de los Oficios in the La Viña neighborhood, so that they can be installed in another more suitable place; in addition to taking charge of part of the works that were included in two projects of the EIB and that have been left out in the actions of the neighborhoods, one of them framed in the San Clara project such as the waterproofing of the Plaza de Vera in the Miguel Ángel Residential, worth 140,000 euros and that is one of the great demands of the neighbors due to the numerous leaks what's in garages and on the foundations of neighboring buildings; as well as the renovation of the sidewalks of the San Antonio neighborhood, since the project that is planned has focused on the construction of the underpass and the exit and entrance of the highway, leaving out this remodeling.

" The Mayor has also referred to "the 140,000 euros foreseen in educational matters to carry out the necessary adaptations due to the current pandemic situation in schools in both districts and neighborhoods, and also another item to continue working on the Plan Shadow in all schools, as well as adaptations in the Gato Infantile School and in the Municipal Library Network ". Mateos has indicated that "another item of 90,000 euros is reflected for the Rapid Intervention Brigade (BIR), for all those urgent repairs that are carried out daily in the neighborhoods and districts of the municipality, and other issues and various works such as the installation of the air conditioning in the Beach Volleyball Center, not included in the completion of this project and very necessary considering the high temperatures that we endure in the municipality for many days a year ". The mayor has specified "another item for various works in districts worth 220,000 euros and 12,000 euros for the adaptation of the Statistics Service to new technologies and to improve this provision to the citizens of Lorca".
