The City Council starts the new campaign "You are the key piece, Enjoy in Lorca!" (04/11/2020)

Enjoy in Lorca!" with the aim of reactivating the local economy by supporting our commercial and hospitality fabric with the tags #BuyEnLorca ¡Renuévate! and #ComeEnLorca ¡Saboréala !, always respecting the hygienic-sanitary safety measures. The mayor of Lorca has stated that "if during the last months we have been informing and raising awareness in Lorca about hygienic-sanitary safety measures with the aim of reducing the incidence of Covid-19, now we also want to emphasize the need that we Lorca enjoy ourselves in Lorca, shopping and eating here, in our municipality ". Diego José Mateos has highlighted "the enormous effort made by merchants and hoteliers in Lorca to adapt their businesses to the new context, turning them into spaces where we can safely consume and make our purchases.

Now it is our turn, Lorca, complying with all the measures , with prudence and responsibility, help them by giving them the support they need and thus reactivating the local economy.

" In this sense, the deputy mayor of Lorca has explained the characteristics of this new initiative created by the Department of Economy and that adds to the previous ones carried out within the Plan for Dynamization, Reactivation and Promotion of Local Commerce, Hospitality and Leisure, and those carried out by commercial and hotel associations in collaboration with the Lorca City Council.

"It is a campaign adapted to the current context marked by uncertainty since it is valid both for when there is perimeter confinement and when municipal limits are opened.

In both cases, we Lorca have to become aware of the need to make our purchases in Lorca to support our neighbors who run a business or have a restaurant ". Francisco Morales has highlighted that "the fundamental message of the campaign is to encourage people to enjoy themselves in Lorca by complying with all hygienic-sanitary safety measures, and that we, the people of Lorca, are the key piece that makes everything work with our purchases and drinks ". The mayor of Economy has stated that "it is not a campaign to support local commerce and hospitality anymore, as it also adapts to the situation we find ourselves in.

In the current context, it is more important than ever that we Lorca know that the economy of our neighbors and of Lorca depends in part on whether we carry out our activities in the municipality, whether they be shopping, lunch, dinner or sports and leisure activities.

In Lorca we have everything to enjoy with family and friends ". As for the communication campaign, which is very visual, it will be distributed on posters to all shops and catering establishments in the municipality, but also disseminated on social networks and through all communication media (television, radio and digital and written press).

Also, we can find it in physical supports such as bus stops, buses and billboards scattered around the municipality and the Parque Almenara Shopping Center. All the posters incorporate a QR code that redirects to the recently created Lorca City Council Economy Portal where you can find useful information related to the subject such as a Lorca business search engine, a manager for prior appointment and reservations, information on public aid, material prevention for businesses, among others. Regarding its design, Morales has detailed that "in the blocks of 'Lorca's tetris' sectors such as hospitality, food, telephony, jewelry, textiles, shoemaking, optics and jewelry are represented, but also other aspects that are not necessarily economic that promote greater Enjoy in Lorca such as sports, walking around the city, public transport, parking or bike lanes.
