PP: The new education law promoted by the PSOE abolishes special education, abandons its students and will lead to the closure of the Pilar Soubrier school (09/11/2020)

Pedro Mondéjar: "The Government considers that this type of education segregates children and proposes that all students with special needs be transferred to ordinary centers, despite the opposition of families with children with disabilities."The Councilor for Education in the town hall of Lorca for the Popular Party, Pedro Mondéjar, has denounced that the new Education Law promoted by the PSOE "is going to load" special education leaving the families who use it totally abandoned.

We are talking about a real nonsense, which suppresses, among other resources, special education schools like Pilar Soubrier, which do extraordinary work with their students.

It is a mistake that will generate enormous damages.

It is incomprehensible that instead of offering an improvement in the financing that these centers need, the PSOE opts to suppress a system that works.

Nor is it understood that this measure is imposed against even the opinion of families with children with special needs,who have already anticipated that this change will make their situation worse.Pedro Mondéjar has indicated that the main error of the so-called "Celáa Law" lies in its Fourth Additional Provision, since the Government considers that this type of education segregates children and unilaterally determines that in a period not exceeding 10 years it should be having completed the transfer of students from schools like Pilar Soubrier to other ordinary centers.

From the Popular Party we support the interests of families, and we strongly oppose the closure of these centers.The Celaá law, aims to let the Special Education centers die, is designed to have a monopoly on education and turns its back on the general interests of citizens.

In a relativistic society, which has renounced the truth, which is the true object of education, it causes the risk of a certain, or a lot, indoctrination through the educational system.

We are facing the worst cut in educational rights that has ever been known in Spain.You cannot make a law directed at a population group against the opinion of that population group.

The opinion of parents or experts is not taken into account at any time.

An attempt is made to shoehorn a supposed "inclusion" that will lead to just the oppositeThis Law does not take into account the resources that are going to be necessary, it obviates the necessary economic plan and it also lacks the feasibility plan to improve the care of students with special educational needs.

Instead of taking into account the good of the students and their families, the transfer of the students to ordinary centers is forced, and on top of that the students may be changed of modality against the opinion of their parents.

This Education Law, therefore, seriously violates the rights of people with special educational needs.

For them we ask that this serious error be corrected, taking into account the proposals of parents and Special Education professionals, and that the government of Spain commit to allocate the money they need to these schools.It is a Law with an ideological charge and that puts ideology before the good of the students.

This document has been made for the first time with its back to society, without speaking, without agreeing with any sector of education, a dictatorial law, which does not matter who likes it or not, which is the same, it does not matter who can help, as its objective is exclusively ideological.This law is designed to have a monopoly on education and control of the person, removing Spanish as a vehicular language, which even our Cervantes could not bear such depravity and offense to the second of the most widely spoken languages ??in the world, and so much has been given to culture and thought.

They have managed to exclude the concerted, to select the inspectors by finger for their easy manipulation, it has eliminated the freedom of choice of center, social demand and above all an attack on the weakest, on our special education.
