This year the San Clemente Festivities will not be celebrated due to the sanitary restrictions derived from the covid, but a series of commemorative events will be held ".María Ángeles Mazuecos pointed out that "we hope that next year we can celebrate these festivities as our patron and the city of Lorca deserve, but first we have to continue to be responsible for that to be possible."For his part, the president of the San Clemente Federation has affirmed that “these parties imply joy and rejoicing, and from the Federation we are saddened by those who died in this Pandemic; as well as concerned for the sick and for the people who are having a bad time for health or economic reasons associated with this situation; and we stand in solidarity with all those who in one way or another are fighting this virus ”.Luis Torres del Alcázar has insisted that “the Employer well deserves that we remember him in this difficult situation and that we ask for his protection and guidance to get out of it.
