Mateos imposed in April, despite that Ceclor, the Chamber of Commerce and the Platform for Self-Employed (PLAU) warned him that it was not what was needed.

We already warned that we were not willing for the current mayor to make the same mistakes, which caused a deep general frustration, since of the million euros that Mr.

Mateos promised to deliver to these professionals, only a quarter was distributed, and the established requirements excluded half of the aid applicants.Regarding the terrible result of that "tips and change" system in April, we have to remember that Mr.

Mateos stated that they would all be paid at the same time.

However, the reality is that, to this day, seven months later, there are still professionals who are still waiting to be paid.We have to remember that the current mayor currently has more money than ever in the municipal coffers, since he enjoys a surplus of 6.5 million euros, 12 million available in the treasury and the restrictions established by the rule have been removed of expense.

In fact, Mr Mateos decided to spend 800,000 euros to buy cars, which shows that there is money for what you want.

We are talking, therefore, of deciding what is the priority and most necessary for Lorca; spend 800,000 euros to buy cars or give that money to our hoteliers, freelancers and merchants.

In addition to the surplus and the treasury, the city council has the savings that continue to accumulate in the municipal coffers because the different items of events such as Easter, Fairs, Sepor, Fericab, have not been spent,closing of swimming pools, services and sports facilities, among others.Rosa María Medina has stated that the implementation of Fulgencio Gil's proposal contemplated immediately activating a line of "direct and fast" municipal subsidies of up to 2,000 euros for merchants, hoteliers and SMEs affected by the socio-economic and labor crisis that the municipality suffers as a result of the restrictions caused by Covid-19.The result of the mess that Mr.

Mateos is creating due to the indolence he is showing constitutes a true catastrophe, since some of the beneficiaries of these "tips" are going to receive them when they have even been forced to close their businesses, irrefutable proof that the current mayor's model leads us to failure.The mayor of the PSOE is repeating that he is showing himself incapable of learning from his mistakes.

This new line of aid promoted by Fulgencio Gil had to fulfill the objective and the conditions with which it was raised: direct delivery to the self-employed, merchants and hoteliers after the presentation of a responsible declaration.

However, the eternal delay of the government of Mr Mateos is leading the beneficiaries to repeat frustration and disappointment, because aid that arrives late is not aid.

Again, we find the obstructionism of Mr Mateos, who keeps these aid blocked just when the professionals who have to receive them most need them.Fulgencio Gil has stated that "I have to admit that I did not expect this degree of indolence to be reached, since the proposal that we put on the table received the support of all municipal groups, specifying the commitment of its immediate activation.

I cannot hide the fact that I feel particularly disappointed and disappointed, because we trusted that these grants would be agile and direct, and are on the way to causing more frustration and disappointment than assistance.

But what really matters to me, what worries me, are the Lorca families who They should have received this money already, and they find that days and weeks go by, and not even the bases have come out.

I am receiving daily calls from hoteliers, merchants and freelancers asking me what is happening, and I have reached this point ,I have to admit that the city council is failing them, and there is nothing to justify it.
