The PP asks all parties to support the initiative to maintain the IBI bonus in national budgets before the "scared" of the PSOE (20/11/2020)

Rosa Mª Medina: "In a few days the amendment promoted by Fulgencio Gil will be voted in the Congress of Deputies so that next year those affected by the earthquakes have this fiscal aid.

We hope that no one dares to betray Lorca". The general secretary of the Popular Party of Lorca, Rosa María Medina, has described as "scared indecent" that, despite the promise of Diego José Mateos, Pedro Sánchez, Diego Conesa and Marisol Sánchez, ratified on November 2, the PSRM it will not finally ask that the IBI bonus be included for those affected by the earthquakes. Medina Mínguez recalled that on November 2 Diego Conesa, secretary general of the PSRM, and Marisol Sánchez, national deputy of the PSOE, stated in a press conference at the regional headquarters of their party, literally that "The amendments that Murcian socialist deputies will not be aimed at enabling games for the Mar Menor, but they will establish a 50% bonus in the IBI for those affected by the Lorca earthquakes.

" They made this announcement three days after Fulgencio Gil publicly denounced that, despite what was promised dozens of times by the socialist tandem Sánchez & Mateos, the General State Budgets for 2021 suppress 11 million euros for those affected by the earthquakes, including 8 million that will come out of the pockets of those affected by the earthquakes by eliminating the IBI bonus and another 3 million euros that Lorca is not going to receive and that were intended to make investments in districts. That announcement before the cameras has remained a deception, in a smoke screen that the socialists launched to try to wash their image and their own conscience, since even Pedro Sánchez himself publicly promised just a year ago that this bonus would be maintained.

However, the reality is that the PSOE, despite having announced it, has not presented any amendment, neither for the IBI, nor for the 3 million investment in districts that the Pedro Sánchez government owes Lorca, or at all. This fraud is especially unseemly not only because they had already promised to maintain the 50% IBI bonus, but because among the national deputies of the PSOE there is a representative from Lorca.

That is why we have no choice but to ask ourselves, what use is it to us Lorca to have a deputy in congress if so far the only thing that has been achieved is that they take 15 million from us for the IBI bonus in 2020 and 2021, 3 million for investments in districts, the arrival of the AVE and the underground are charged, reduce the arrival of water from the Tagus by 30% and, in addition, have paralyzed "sine die" the construction of the Palace of Justice? And what is even more incredible, how is it possible that neither the current mayor nor any of his councilors has dared to defend the Lorca before his party? We are talking about 18 million euros in aid to our municipality that has been taken from us after launching a cataract of false commitments, lies and deceptions. So much lie has portrayed each one, and in a matter of a few days the amendment promoted by Fulgencio Gil and presented by the Popular Party will have to be voted in the Congress of Deputies so that next year Lorca can recover the IBI bonus that Pedro Sánchez and Diego José Mateos have taken from us as soon as they have made their respective armchairs.

That day, the Socialists will have to return to "portray themselves", and we Lorca will be especially pending to see if they keep their word and support the initiative in this regard promoted by Fulgencio Gil, or consummate their betrayal of Lorca.
