The mayor of Health and Celebrations has recalled that "the decree of the Regional Government of the Autonomous Community of the Region of Murcia for the closure of the hotel business and the perimeter confinement of the 45 Murcian municipalities is still in force." The Councilor for Health and Celebrations of the City Council of Lorca, José Ángel Ponce, has called for the responsibility of the residents of Lorca to avoid crowds and reduce social contact, so that this weekend and facing the holiday, this coming Monday, November 23, of the Day of San Clemente for the correct fulfillment of the sanitary measures in force. The Councilor for Health recalled that "due to the current health situation it has prevented the festivities from developing in a traditional way as they had been doing until then, and due to the coronavirus a program of commemorative events is being carried out, respecting the sanitary measures established by the competent authorities". José Ángel Ponce has reiterated that "the decree of the Regional Government of the Autonomous Community by which the hotel and catering sector is closed, in addition to the perimeter confinement that prevents mobility between municipalities, is still in force, although we can move within the limits of our locality ". Ponce Díaz has pointed out that "in the case of family reunions on the occasion of this festivity so deeply rooted among Lorca and Lorca, it will not be possible to exceed six people, do so while complying with the safety distance, using a mask and with the correct hygiene hands".
