The councilor for Pedanías and Parks and Gardens of the Lorca City Council, Antonio Navarro, has announced the start of construction of a new park in the district of La Campana. Navarro explained that "in the next few days work will begin to create a new park in the district of La Campana, a process that will be supervised by the staff of the Department of Parks and Gardens of the City of Lorca." The mayor has detailed that "in particular, a total area of ??5,220 square meters will be conditioned, in which several areas have been differentiated.
In a first phase, we are going to build a large multipurpose court next to the sports court and then , a children's area and another area with biosaludables games.
" Navarro Pérez has indicated that "both in the perimeter of the entire plot and in the various designed areas, trees will be planted that create a new green lung, with all the benefits that it entails.
And, in a second phase, we will incorporate into this new area of leisure a barbecue area with benches ".
