Diego José Mateos has once again insisted on the need to comply with all the sanitary measures still in force since "the best favor we can do to our hoteliers is to keep our guard up and continue, together, fighting to maintain a level of contagion low". November 23, 2020 The Mayor of Lorca has indicated that "from the City Council of Lorca we value positively the decision of the Ministry of Health of the Autonomous Community of Murcia to allow the terraces of the hotel establishments of Lorca to resume their activity". Diego José Mateos recalled that "we already said that, during more than five weeks of confinement in our municipality, we managed, among all of us, to lower the level of contagion, even with open terraces, therefore it seems that this is not the main problem of the contagions in our city ". Mateos Molina has reiterated that "we must continue to make this appeal to all citizens so that we continue to have responsible behaviors, respect health regulations and prevent new infections, and that this may again lead to a closure of the hotel industry." Finally, the Mayor has insisted that "the best favor we can do to our hoteliers is to keep our guard up, not lower the alert level regarding mandatory sanitary standards and continue together fighting to maintain a level of contagions low and that these terraces can continue to develop their activity with some continuity ".
