The Municipal Consumer Information Office of Lorca is providing information and advice services to those affected by the closure of DENTIX CLINICS (25/11/2020)

So far, 50 claims have been filed against this company, which is in the process of bankruptcy and 46 against the financial company with which the credits for the different treatments have been contracted. The Councilor for Consumer Affairs of the Lorca City Council has reported that the Municipal Consumer Information Office of Lorca (OMIC) is providing an information and advice service to those affected by the closure of the DENTIX CLINICS that are currently in a process of bankruptcy. The Councilor for Consumption has detailed that "to date a total of 50 claims have been made against this company at the OMIC" and recalled that "all those affected patients must complain to DENTIX, requesting that in the event of the breach of the contract for the provision of services by the company DENTIX, DENTOESTETIC CENTRO DE SALUD Y ESTETICA SL, consider the dental treatment contract canceled, and on the other, request the delivery of the medical history, as well as the certificate in which it is determined which part of the service has been received ". 29.3 of Law 16 / 2011, of June 24, of consumer credit contracts, which establishes that "the consumer, in addition to being able to exercise the rights that correspond to him against the supplier of the goods or services acquired through a linked credit agreement, may exercise those same rights against the lender ". The mayor of Consumer Affairs has indicated that "in this sense, from the Municipal Consumer Information Office it is not recommended that the loans be stopped, because while the resolution of the credit contract is not formalized, the breach of the Obligations contracted with the financial institution does not disappear, and consequently the financial institution may demand compliance with the agreement ".
