The Councilor for Equality, Antonia Pérez, pointed out that "they have been located at the entrances to the San Antonio neighborhood, the Caravaca road, the Águilas road and the Apolonia neighborhood", and recalled that "this activity, included in the programming on the occasion of 25N, is financed with credits received from the Ministry of Equality, Secretary of State for Equality against Gender Violence ". The Councilor for Equality of the City Council of Lorca, Antonia Pérez, has reported a new initiative carried out by the Lorca City Council, on the occasion of the commemoration of November 25, International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women.

" The mayor of Equality explained that "in a year marked by the health crisis, from the City Council of Lorca, through the Department of Equality, we continue to support this fight to eliminate violence against women in all areas". Antonia Pérez stressed that "for this reason we want to make the municipal campaign more visible through the installation of four posters in four of the entrances to our municipal area, with the message 'Lorca against violence against women'". Pérez Segura has specified that "these posters have been installed at the entrances to the urban area of ??Lorca through the San Antonio neighborhood, the Caravaca road, the Águilas road and the Apolonia neighborhood, within an activity financed from the credits received of the Ministry of Equality, Secretary of State for Equality against Gender Violence ". The Councilor for Equality recalled that "since last week the various acts included in the municipal programming have been carried out on the occasion of November 25, a program that will end next week, specifically, on December 2, with the call, from the Federation of Women's Organizations of Lorca, of a minute of silence for the victims of gender violence, at 10:15 am in the Plaza de España; at 11 am, the planting of a tree in the Parque de Campillo and, at 7 pm, at the José María Campoy Mayor Cultural Center, the Lorca Feminist organization will culminate the programming of this 25N with a discussion entitled Gender violence and inequalities in the local sphere ". A wide program of activities organized on the occasion of the commemoration of the 25N, the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women that is being developed taking into account all the security measures established by the health authorities on the occasion of the pandemic we are experiencing. Finally, Antonia Pérez has insisted on "the need to be united, women and men, in this fight against violence against women, which in 2020 has already claimed the lives of 1,074 women."
