However, we have to regret that the current mayor of the city has remained undaunted and with crossed arms during the last year and a half, without speeding up anything in this regard, despite the fact that it is a neighborhood petition led and promoted jointly with our political formation.Fulgencio Gil explained that the development of the Action Unit 23 (UA-23), initiated in the previous corporate mandate by the Popular Party, undoubtedly constitutes a fundamental milestone in the political will to definitively, decisively and forcefully promote the social, urban, economic and commercial development of the San Cristóbal neighborhood.The change in the management system of this bag of land, which we went from compensation to cooperation, was the first step in a courageous and determined path, by leading the municipal Administration, with its means and administrative powers, promoting it, and that It allowed the demolition of the old and degraded block, the generation of a green area, the opening of two roads, the generation of residential land, and very especially, unlocking a plot of equipment to enable the location of the new San Cristóbal Health Center , action that must be the true lever and pillar that promotes the definitive development of the area.This last objective became the absolute priority of the PP, and in it we invested many hours of work, meetings, visits and efforts, with the invaluable support and technical assistance of the municipal planning and urban management services, formally offering the aforementioned plot to the Autonomous Community of the Region of Murcia, taking steps before it and the CHS (which has made everything so difficult) and that we have managed to solve with the issuance by the Ministry of Health of a "technical report on the viability and construction of a health center on the plot offered by the Lorca City Council in the San Cristóbal neighborhood ".

This document welcomes the proposal that we made in its day, and favorably informs the location that we proposed,establishing a series of corrective measures that guarantee the safety of users.Fulgencio Gil has indicated that, therefore exceeding this milestone, what proceeds at this moment and becomes an absolute priority and urgent is to obtain the aforementioned plot and make it available to the Ministry of Health so that the construction project of the Health Center of San Cristóbal, its execution and commissioning become a reality as soon as possible.Knowing how we know the difficulty for the development of an urban action like this, and the amount of technical and administrative procedures that are necessary, we are surprised that the current government team has not continued with them during this year and a half of mandate, in the one that has paralyzed its development in an incomprehensible way.We demand, given the passivity of Mr.

Mateos, that the procedures and actions necessary for the general promotion of the development of the UA-23 be accelerated as much as possible, given its strategic importance for the residents of the San Cristóbal neighborhood.
