Gala "Autumn Flamenco Ciudad del Sol" (05/12/2020)

He has studied guitar in Jerez de la Frontera with Pascual de Lorca, José María Molero and Fernando Moreno.

He has accompanied and performed with singers such as Perlita de Huelva, Sonia la Húngara, Rocío Márquez, Fosforito, Juanito Valderrama and India Martínez.

He has also been a guitarist in flamenco singing competitions and festivals, to name a few: the Ciudad del Sol Flamenco Festival in Lorca, the "Murcia Flamenca" Festival and the Lo Ferro International Flamenco Singing Festival.In 2018 he participated in the international guitar festival in Uppsala (Sweden) and has recently signed a contract with the record company Air Music. She is currently studying Dance Pedagogy at the prestigious Conservatorio Superior de Danza, Maria de Ávila in Madrid.

He has recently started a project in Sweden with a fusion of Arabic, jazz and flamenco music, with an orchestra made up of 22 musicians of different nationalities, with a tour scheduled for 2021 in the Nordic countries. The cante, the dance and the guitar of these young artists from Lorca will be accompanied by the rhythm of the flamenco cajón by José Luis Sánchez Fernández, from Torre Pacheco.

This other young percussionist is currently completing the Higher Degree in Flamencology in Córdoba and has also trained with teachers such as "El Piraña", Miguel Lamas, Joel Páez and Manuel Reina. The opening and closing of the gala will be in charge of Grupo Rociero "Las Marismas".

This dance group was formed in 2015 and is directed by María Rosario Campos.

It also includes girls from Lorca and districts of different ages who began to dance and train in dance at an early age.

They have been performing on various stages interpreting a great variety of dances and dances, both folkloric and flamenco styles.

The group was invited, for the first time, in 2019 to perform at the Guerra de Lorca Theater on the occasion of the "Ciudad del Sol" International Festival of Flamenco Singing, where they had a warm welcome from the public. The poster representing the gala is titled "Flamenco de Colores" and is the work of the young artist from Cehegín, Cristóbal Rodríguez Martínez.

He was the second classified in the poster contest that was called for the festival last year and for this reason, it has been decided that he will represent this gala.

Cristóbal Rodríguez graduated in Fine Arts from the University of Murcia in 2018, Master's Degree in Teaching at ESO and Baccalaureate from the University of Granada and obtained an Erasmus grant to carry out an internship as a designer in Pilsen, Czech Republic.

Currently he combines the preparation of public exams with his own artistic projects.

Recently, he has also been the winner of the XXXI Poster Contest of the Biology Week of the University of Murcia.
