The mayor of Citizen Security of Lorca, José Luis Ruiz Guillén, explained that "due to the festivities of the Constitution Day and La Inmaculada, controls have been increased" and stressed that "it has gone from 986 complaints in October to 518 in November, which shows a better behavior and greater awareness of our neighbors about sanitary measures ". The Councilor for Citizen Security of the City Council of Lorca, José Luis Ruiz Guillén, has taken stock, this morning, of the actions taken by the Local Police of Lorca for the correct compliance with the measures to contain the spread of the coronavirus during this past Weekend. The Councilor for Citizen Security has detailed "that 10 controls were carried out, 203 people were identified and a total of 192 vehicles were controlled." José Luis Ruiz Guillén has added that "a total of 27 have been filed on the Protection of Citizen Security; another 22 for breach of the curfew; 17 for not respecting the quarantine period; 15 complaints for breach of the mandatory use of masks; 14 for not complying with traffic restrictions, four for excess occupants in vehicles, three for smoking without respecting the minimum distance, and another three for not respecting the ordinance of citizen coexistence, up to a total of 105 penalties.

" Ruiz Guillén has indicated that "in addition, four other complaints have been sent to the Provincial Traffic Authority related to crimes against road safety, for which two people have been arrested." The mayor of Citizen Security recalled that "this weekend, on the occasion of the holiday, yesterday Sunday, December 6, of the Day of the Constitution, and tomorrow Tuesday of the Feast of the Immaculate, from the Local Police, the controls have been reinforced mobility and also in those usual areas for the practice of 'bottles' or the consumption of alcohol on public roads, as well as to address complaints that may be caused by holding parties at homes and monitoring for proper compliance with sanitary measures against Covid-19 on the terraces of hotel establishments ". In addition, it has also referred to the data of the complaints carried out during the last two months, going from 986 in October (423 for not wearing or doing it incorrectly the mask and 175 on protection of Citizen Security), to 518 in November, of which 164 correspond to non-compliance with the use of the mask and 129 to the curfew, which shows a better behavior and greater awareness of our neighbors, respecting the measures established by the health authorities. The councilor has reiterated the "appeal to the social responsibility of each Lorca and Lorca to comply with each of the measures, because we cannot stop insisting that it is in our power to cut the chain of infections" and has insisted that " We will continue to carry out surveillance and control tasks so that the sanitary regulations that allow us to continue reducing the number of infections are respected.
