The mayor of Lorca appeals to individual responsibility so that sanitary restrictions can continue to be lifted in the municipality (08/12/2020)

The mayor of Lorca, Diego José Mateos, has been satisfied with the new measures adopted by the Covid Committee of the regional government and that will take effect, starting tomorrow, Wednesday, December 9. The mayor of Lorca has insisted that "these measures are supported by the epidemiological situation, and the improvement registered in the number of infections in much of the Region, and in many localities, including Lorca, which will enable, As of tomorrow, the restriction of mobility between localities is lifted.

The closure of the Region is still maintained, in accordance with the recommendations agreed upon by the Interterritorial Health Council.

" Diego José Mateos has valued that "this improvement in the health situation also allows hotel establishments, bars and cafeterias in Lorca to occupy its interior up to 50% of the capacity, which will encourage the hospitality industry to resume its pulse, as it will in the rest of the localities that have registered between 75 and 250 cases per 100,000 in recent days, as is also the case in the neighboring town of Águilas ".
