| This is an initiative whose funds will be allocated to the Pablo Ugarte Foundation | The calendar is illustrated with photographs of the own children of the farmers integrated in the Regional Table of Livestock, in their respective farms The Popular Party in the city of Lorca has wanted to show its absolute and unconditional support for the initiative promoted by the Agrupaci n de Defensa Sanitaria de Livestock Pigs, Adespolorca.
It is about the sale of a solidarity calendar whose entire proceeds will be donated to the Pablo Ugarte Foundation, which focuses on research for the treatment and prevention of childhood cancer.
This calendar contains photos of children of livestock families on their own farms and is accompanied by an allusive phrase, and is available to all interested at the medical price of 6 euros, with a first print run of 500 copies. The PP spokesman in the city of Lorca, Fulgencio Gil, has shown his absolute support for Adespolorca, and stressed that this entity has always been at the service of Lorca, collaborating with solidarity causes like this one, and helping to help everything the one who has needed it.
We are talking about an altruistic initiative that deserves the support of all, and today we have wanted to open the doors of our town hall for all Lorca to know about this new solidarity action.
We encourage citizens to contribute to this initiative and we congratulate its promoters because any help is good for those who need it, and the effort is worth it, because the gratitude is infinite.We put at the disposal of anyone interested in acquiring this calendar our headquarters and the office of the Popular Municipal Group in the city of Lorca as places of sale. Mar a Dolores P rez, partner of Adespolorca and collaborator of this action, has indicated that this calendar pursues a good cause and we would like to present it in our town hall.
We appreciate the support that the Popular Party has shown towards this initiative, which has arisen thanks to the collaboration of professionals from different sectors grouped in the Regional Livestock Table. The director of Adespolorca Mar a del Mar Manzanares, explained that the preparation of this solidarity calendar arose because the regional Work Table of the sector decided to take advantage of the photographic work carried out for the elaboration of a spot with the farmers' own children to contribute to a good cause, such as the research on childhood cancer carried out by the Pablo Ugarte Foundation, a non-profit entity, declared of public utility and which aims to collaborate in the fight against cancer, financially support research teams, and help people affected by cancer or another long-term disease, in particular children affected by cancer.
These calendars can be purchased at the Adespolorca headquarters, as well as through all the partners of this entity.
