Mateos has to be really involved in the management of the company, because Limusa has already cost us Lorca more than 520,000 euros, and the numbers for four more months are yet to come out."The Councilor of Limusa for the Popular Party in the Lorca town hall, Juan Miguel Bayonas, has shown serious concern about the result of the terrible political management that the current mayor is developing in Limusa, and that has ruined the company to the point of having to rescue her with 500,000 euros of the taxes of all Lorca, a fact that was unprecedented in the years of management of the Popular Party.
This figure covers only a part of the losses accumulated by the work of Mr Mateos during this year, since it only includes the period between January and August, and the figures for another four months have yet to be added.That is why, at the General Board meeting called for next week, we are going to ask about the evolution of the accounts, although we have to anticipate that, according to the forecasts that we handle, these data will not be encouraging.
From the Popular Party we are going to propose that Mr.
Mateos really get involved in the management of the company, because so far his work leaves much to be desired.
We want the data to be passed on to us on a monthly basis and quarterly account closings to prevent the losses that are already accumulating from worsening.We have to remember that the management developed by the PP in Limusa indicates that we picked up the company with annual losses of more than 200,000 euros, going on to offer positive numbers every year, which were disqualified by the current mayor of the Treasury of Mr.
Mateos, who He rejected them because they were literally "millionaire profits." It is clear that what the PSOE likes is that Limusa is a ruin, something in which it has specialized.However, with the PP Limusa it obtained surpluses of € 341,700 in 2014, 784,472 in 2015, 1.2 million in 2016, 1.7 million in 2017, 944,000 in 2018 and 205,200 in 2019.
As soon as the PSOE has returned to manage Limusa , the red numbers have returned, already exceeding 520,000 euros.It is not the first time we have said it, but a year and a half have already passed and we see that the management of the mayor of the socialists in Limusa worsens as the months go by.
The truth is that Mr.
Mateos already started badly trying in vain to impose as CEO the only mayor of Ciudadanos as payment for his political support.
As he was unable to do so, Mr.
Mateos verified how his government partner was trying to hire a "deputy councilor", something that he was unable to do either, which led him to abandon the management of the company.
The mayor of the PSOE should have taken the reins of Limusa, but he has also ignored the management.And the workers without the clothing of these dates ...The result of this null political management has been the economic ruin of the company, throwing 520,000 euros in losses, while complaints come from all corners of the municipality because Lorca is dirtier than ever, despite the extra effort that is being demanded of it to the workers.
It is not fair that the entire weight of the company has been dropped on the shoulders of the employees, it is an irresponsible attitude, which is increased by events such as that at this point in the year, the company has not yet delivered their work clothes for these dates.
A lack of attention that derives from the null interest in the company on the part of the current local government.For the next General Meeting, called for December 22, Mr.
Mateos proposes to create a corporate website.
From the Popular Party we consider it positive that work continues on the line of modernization and transparency that we implemented during our years of management at the head of Limusa, and if this resource comes to contribute something in this regard, it will be welcome.
What we are not going to support in any case is that this website requires new expenses neither from the company nor the city council, so we bet that this corporate website is developed by the extraordinary municipal officials who provide their work in the Department of Society of the information.
It is evident that, after having to financially rescue the company by injecting 500,000 euros from the city council,Lorca do not deserve to assume this type of expense that we can save.
That is why we are committed to adapting the company's website to the objective pursued, incorporating to it, in addition, the immediate publication of all minor contracts, as has already been done by the city council since the PP established it.Lorca deserve to know what is happening in Limusa, with transparency and with real data accessible to all, something that is especially necessary today after all the problems that are publicly known.
