FERAMUR has adapted to current circumstances and will be held in December so that this Christmas crafts are given away | The Mayor of Lorca, Diego Jos Mateos, and the Deputy Mayor and Councilor for Crafts, Francisco Morales, have attended, together with representatives of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Lorca and FERAMUR, to the presentation of the first Market Christmas of Crafts that will be celebrated in a Special Edition of FERAMUR 2020, next December 18 and 19 in Alameda de la Constituci n and that will be named "This Christmas, give art a ".
The mayor of Lorca has reported "the opening, next Friday, December 18, at 10:00 am, of the first Christmas Market of crafts that organizes the Official Fair of Crafts of the Region.

Diego Jos Mateos recalled that "last July, the organization had to announce the cancellation and postponement of the XXXVII Edition of this fair, which was scheduled for September, due to the evolution of the pandemic in the region and restrictions on mobility between communities.
FERAMUR has seen fit to adapt the fair to current circumstances and celebrate it in December with a new message and purpose, such as this Christmas gifts of crafts to help this sector along with the rest of the aid that is being destined from all the administrations ".
The vice mayor and councilor for Commerce has detailed that "due to the economic crisis and the cancellation of practically all artisan events, sales in this sector have been reduced by around 70% and are at risk the survival of many artisan companies that mark so much our local traditions and that are part of our heritage and identity.Remember that Lorca is an Artisan Municipality, we have a Regional Artisan Center, the Artisan House of Lorca, the Artisan Market Easter week and with the own Official Craft Fair of the Region of Murcia ".
Francisco Morales has indicated that "with the realization of this Christmas Market, FERAMUR innovates in its organization, as is the objective of the council, the City Council of Lorca and the Chamber of Commerce, and aims to highlight the importance of the artisan product in our culture, and encourage the purchase of handmade, personal and traditional gifts this Christmas.
It should be noted that when we give crafts, we are giving an exclusive product made from the heart, and what better way than finding the perfect gift in a Christmas market full of light, color and quality ".
In the Lorca Christmas Market there will be 20 stalls of master craftsmen and compliance with all health safety measures will be guaranteed.
Rules will be established to limit the capacity and to be able to keep the safety distance through circles of trust and safety, as well as arrows that mark the direction of visitors.
From FERAMUR you are encouraged to visit this first Christmas Market, which will take place in the Alameda de la Constituci n on December 18 and 19, from 10:00 a.m.
