People expected something else, a truly innovative project, which would collect their proposals and with which they could feel identified, not a low-cost installation that did not convince. It constitutes, in short, a missed opportunity, yet another, on the part of the mayor of the Socialists, who continues to be unable to do things well, and is being particularly reluctant to respect the opinion of the residents of those areas in which works are executed.

Mateos hides from those affected by the works throughout the municipality any details related to the works that are to be carried out.
It is paradoxical that after spending years and years boasting of being the "champion" of citizen participation, he has become a mayor who governs and imposes without consulting anyone.
