Diego Jos Mateos: "this new park is one more action that this government team carries out to continue with our firm commitment to revitalize the neighborhood, a neighborhood that for years has been abandoned and in which we now work to that our neighbors recover the services and infrastructure they deserve ".

The Mayor of Lorca, Diego Jos Mateos, together with the Councilor for Public Works, Isabel Casalduero, have supervised the end of the works to create the park in the Plaza del Sant simo Cristo de la Sangre.

Mateos explained that "the park has 900 square meters in which biosaludable play equipment has been placed, a steel and wood pergola of 85 square meters that provides shade to the area and that has been decorated with 7 mulberry trees, 6 benches, 2 wastebaskets, a lighting system has been installed consisting of 3 double columns and 10 Led-type luminaires and the floor finish has been made with a 5-centimeter-thick, red earth pavement, watered and compacted ".

The first mayor has detailed that "the work has been carried out by the students who make up the training and employment workshops taught by the Local Development Council and the total investment for the creation of this green space has amounted to 60,000 euros ".

"In addition to all the work necessary for the prior conditioning of the space to create this park, the wiring that ran through the site has also been buried." Mateos Molina has thanked "the enormous work done by the students of the employment and training workshops as well as the monitors and technicians of the Local Development Council who have carried out in record time not only the park but the great Christmas tree that will decorate this space during these weeks.
