The mayor of Urban Planning of Lorca, Jos Luis Ruiz Guill n, reiterated that "this improvement is good news since this car park has been used since its creation as a space at the service of commerce and hospitality in the center of the city; from the Town Hall we have endorsed this initiative from the beginning, whose works will foreseeably begin at the beginning of the year ".

The Councilor for Urban Planning of the City of Lorca, Jos Luis Ruiz Guill n, has reported that from the Urban Planning area of ??the City of Lorca works have been authorized for the expansion of the surface parking located in the Alameda de Menchir n, which belongs to the Poncemar Foundation.

The Councilor for Urban Planning recalled that "the acquisition a few months ago of an annexed site, with an area of ??1,305 m2, by the Poncemar Foundation allows the planning of this expansion." Jos Luis Ruiz Guill n highlighted that "after the expansion works, the car park will go from the 238 spaces it currently has to a total of 283 spaces, which means having 45 new parking spaces ".

Ruiz Guill n has specified that "the total amount of the investment to carry out for the execution of the expansion works amounts to a total of 27,740 euros and the works will begin, foreseeably, at the beginning of the pr ximo year ".

The mayor stated that "this expansion is good news since this car park has been used since its creation in 2013 as a space at the service of commerce and hospitality in the city center and the area of Juan Carlos I, and having these 45 new spaces will be especially important on certain dates, such as Easter or weekends, since with commercial activities or other events, the parking lot was small and has even arrived to have its capacity fully occupied.

" Finally, the Councilor for Urban Planning has highlighted that "from the Lorca City Council we have endorsed this initiative from the beginning, a support that we will also continue to provide for the future by this Government team, as well as other similar that might arise ".
