One more Christmas, the Solidarity Collective for Coexistence in Lorca (COSO) will celebrate its traditional delivery of food to needy families in the Lorca municipality.
Since 2011, given the emergency situation unleashed by the earthquakes, this group has organized gala dinners every year to celebrate New Year's Eve and say goodbye every year to a large number of people and families in need from the city of Lorca.
Some editions have been attended by more than 200 people who have been able to enjoy dinners with animation by artistic groups from Lorca and abroad who, together with dozens of volunteers, have made each of the editions possible held.
This year, in the tenth edition, The Lorca Solidarity Collective has decided to adapt to the current health situation and will replace its traditional dinner with the distribution of food baskets at home so that each family or person in need , you can enjoy a decent dinner on the last night of a year that has not been easy.
The group makes itself available to any person or institution that wishes to collaborate in the contribution of food for the composition of the different baskets that will be distributed.
The food collection will take place until December 29.
