This morning, the Faculty of Social Health Sciences of the University Campus of Lorca made a solidarity delivery of toys to the Rafael M ndez University Hospital on the occasion of the Christmas holidays.
In this act dozens of toys have been delivered to be distributed to children hospitalized on these dates in the Pediatric Unit of the aforementioned Hospital.
The event has been marked by compliance with sanitary measures for the prevention of the spread of COVID-19.
Therefore, the delivery took place in the hall of the Hospital, yes, in a properly Christmas and joyful atmosphere, in order to fulfill the objective of bringing a smile to the little ones who are hospitalized.
The Faculty of the Lorca Campus has been represented by the Dean of the Faculty, Mr.
David Cecilio Iy Espinosa, and several Vice-deans: Ms.
Marina Santaella Pascual, Ms.
Mª Antonia Candelaria Alonso Fuentes and Ms.
Irene Mond jar Corbal n.
All of them have been received by personnel from the University Hospital: Mr.
Enrique Jos Casado Galindo, Managing Director of Health Area III; Mr.
Ramón de la Iglesia Director, physician; Ms.
Antonia Moya, Deputy Director of Nursing; Mr.
Jes s Manuel Jim nez Murcia, Training and Teaching Supervisor; and Ms.
Amalia Garc a S nchez, Supervisor of the Pediatric Unit; together with unit personnel.
With this contribution, the Faculty of Social Health Sciences wishes to show its social commitment and the importance of helping those who need it most, especially the youngest, in these difficult times.
