" The Councilor for Public Transport and Mobility of the Lorca City Council, Irene J dar, has taken stock of the actions to improve and adapt the municipal canopies.

J dar explained that "from the Lorca City Council, through the Department of Transport and Mobility, during this 2020 we have launched a Shock Plan for the arrangement of canopies in which we have already invested 18,000 euros ".

The mayor has detailed that "our municipal area has more than a hundred bus stops, most of which are located in our districts, and with the aim of improving the services of our districts.

As well as the conditions in which our neighbors wait for the bus on a daily basis, we started this Shock Plan for the repair of canopies.

" J dar P rez has indicated that "this Plan, which has begun with work on some twenty marquees located in La Pulgara, La Hoya, Marchena, El Consejero, Campillo, Camino Fel , Ramonete and Morata, has consisted of mainly in the installation of glass, the repair of roofs, the renovation of the benches and the repainting and cleaning of the infrastructure.

" "In addition, we have proceeded to remove one of the canopies located in the district of La Pulgara due to the poor state of preservation it presented and we have placed a new one.

And we have proceeded to install a new canopy in La Hoya and another on Camino Fel , specifically at the school transport stops where there were none and were in high demand by the neighbors.

" The Councilor for Mobility recalled that "in response to the neighborhood requests that we have been collecting, we have been executing this plan with which last July we placed a new marquee in the district of La Paca, since the impact of a veh culo had left it unusable and, in September, we also fixed another two in La Parroquia, which had damage to the roof.

" Irene J dar has shown that "this government team will continue working for and for the neighbors, both in the center and in the districts and, therefore, our objective is to continue, little by little, during the next 2021 with these canopy improvement works ".
