The Mayor of Lorca, Diego Jos Mateos, and the Deputy Mayor and Councilor for Public Companies, Francisco Morales, have visited this morning, together with the director of the company, Francisco Ib ñez, the Limusa Logistics Center, where The first urban eco-park in Lorca has been launched for domestic waste that does not have a container on the street.
Diego Jos Mateos has stated that "Limusa has created the first urban eco-park in Lorca.
It is a conditioned space integrated into the Logistics Center whose task will be to collect waste from home sources for which there is no container in the public vehicles, such as fluorescent bulbs and tubes, X-rays, small electrical appliances and portable electrical appliances, mobiles and smartphones, batteries and accumulators, cans with rest of paint or printer cartridges, among others.
It also has a collection point for used cooking oil ".
"It will perform a similar function to the fixed Clean Point of the facilities of the Waste Management Center in Barranco Hondo, but adapted to the possibilities and limitations of a space within the city for the convenience of the citizen and to be accessible 24 hours a day, 365 days a year ".
Francisco Morales, has indicated that "with this new infrastructure, from the Lorca City Council, through Limusa, we intend to avoid travel to the Waste Management Center, as well as the deposit of this type of waste.
