Ruiz Guillén has indicated that "this day, which took place at the San José de Calasanz School, consisted of several play areas distributed outdoors and the boys and girls were divided into 4 groups that rotated through each of the four workshops and organized spaces ".

The Councilor for the Environment has highlighted "the participants were able to enjoy a seed workshop in which they carried out a small planting of different vegetable seeds by using recycled materials with the aim of teaching the participants the growth cycle of plants and the responsibilities derived from their care; a board game workshop in which the boys and girls were proposed to make different popular board games such as tic-tac-toe, micado, monkeys or hoops, all of them created from recycled materials to show participants the importance of the three 'R's: reduce, recycle and reuse ".

"A recycling area was also organized where, after the monitor explained what recycling is, what it is for and the different bins for recycling, the boys and girls had to look around the area for colored cards (yellow, purple , pink, blue and green) with different waste and each group looked for the cards of their color and had to tell the monitor to which container they would throw this waste and, in the environment zone, they held an environmental education talk where they could learn how caring for the environment, that garbage should not be thrown on the ground, the importance of closing taps and turning off lights or respect for flora and fauna ".

José Luis Ruiz Guillén has shown that "from the Government team of the City of Lorca we understand essential and vitally important awareness about the importance of caring for the environment and nature from the earliest ages, so we will continue to carry out days and activities in which children become familiar with simple acts that help us take care of the planet ".
