Lorca welcomed on Monday the first face and virtual conference on Technology, Tourism, Heritage and Employment (24/02/2016)

The Association for the Development of Information Technology and Communications Guadalentín organizes this event together with the Ministry of Education and the Department of Information Society.

The conference will continue on 3 and 10 March at the headquarters of INFO in Murcia and Vélez Blanco.

Councilman Information Society of Ayuntamient6o of Lorca, Juan Francisco Martinez, and the president of the Association for the Development of Information Technology and Communications (ADETIC Guadalentín), José Antonio Jordan, presented a conference promoted by this group that aim to establish a link between resources and cultural and tourism products in the area of ​​Southeast ICT industries and, thus, to present the demands of the cultural sector to technological operators, to see this sector as an opportunity to offer their products and services, promoting cultural tourism as a real engine of the Spanish economy.

Martinez explained that "three face conference will be held, in which the cultural agents present demands with products and technology services and put them in communication with ICT companies. The first day will be on 29 February Lorca the second will take place in the INFO, Murcia, March 3, and finally, on March 10 will be held in Velez Blanco ".

This conference is funded by the Ministry of Education, Culture and Sport, in its role of designing and developing policies to promote cultural and creative industries to contribute to the consolidation and modernization of the sector, improving its competitiveness and fostering job creation, and in collaboration with the Department of Information Society of the City of Lorca, Ceclor, the City of Vélez Blanco, INFO and Andalucía Emprende, Andalusian Public Foundation.

Upon completion of the conference, a course in Castilian and English, which will be hosted on the web, so for free, domestic and foreign stakeholders, can enjoy it is created, learn about the business opportunities that cultural resources we offer and get a personal certificate of achievement after the completion of a test.

The Councillor explained that "we have a strategic sector that presents plenty of opportunities to pursue new business models linked to the Cultural Heritage and Tourism, which will favor, in turn, to job creation."

The speakers of the conference will Capdepón Margarita Frias PhD from the University of Alicante and Professor at the Catholic University of Murcia, degree in Geography and a diploma in Tourism, Master and PhD stays abroad;

Andrés Martínez Rodríguez, BA in Ancient History, Archeology and Art History and PhD in Medieval History from the University of Murcia, Director of the Archaeological Museum of Lorca and curator in more than 20 exhibitions, including "Lorca, Sefarad Lights "and Francisco Ramos Martínez, BA in History from the University of Murcia (2000).

Master in Prehistory and Archaeology from the UNED (2012), PhD in Archaeology from the UNED (today), professional with extensive experience in archeology excavations from the Paleolithic to the nineteenth century who currently works as Project Manager intelligently Patrimonio SL .
