This show, which is shown 8 times in the War Theater hand of the Department of Culture and has been seen by about 3,500 Lorca, mainly schoolchildren, is inspired by the magnificent work of Rudyard Kipling's "The Book of the Virgin Lands" a musical for the whole family that moves from the first second to the last "Mowgli's adventure."

Musical Theatre Awards were created to reward professionals in recognition of their work and to enhance the musical theater industry in Spain, trying to encourage consolidation gender, production and export of the same.

This is one of the most prestigious awards in the Arts, which are evaluated by the professionals of the sector and which will fail in Madrid in the coming months.

The characters in this musical draw us into the jungle to tell by comparing the society, the family values, learning, social relationships, the value of the individual and his effort in conjunction with the group as well as respect to the environment and love for nature.

Kipling's work has been the main inspiration for this show, but more than the novel itself, it was his writing and his style is what has set us the way for writing the beautiful songs this musical and composition, a variety of styles that come to represent among other items and perhaps the most important of this show "diversity" both in relation to the environment in which the action "jungle" develops as the variety "species that inhabit it" and always related to society and this is the great lesson of the binomial Rudyard always present "jungle-village".

The mayor of Culture has congratulated the creators of this musical "is shown entrepreneurialism of Lorca and quality of professionals in the art world that we have in our municipality."

This representation has already been carried out, with great public success, in places like Murcia, Lorca, Mazarron, Aguilas, Alhama de Murcia, Velez-Rubio (Almería), Puerto Lumbreras, Baeza (Jaén), Albacete, Pulpí (Almería ), Herencia (Ciudad Real), Jaen, Cartagena or Roquetas de Mar (Almería).
