PSOE and IU asked to meet with the Education Commission of the Regional Assembly to expose the problem and demand solutions to educational administration.
The regional deputy PSOE, Isabel Casalduero, and Councilman IU Pedro Sosa, also part of the School Board that school as a municipal representative, intend to meet soon with the Parliamentary Education Committee of the Regional Assembly of Murcia in order to expose one of the most serious problems facing the College of Education and Primary "San Cristobal" of Lorca.
Both political representatives, near the educational community center, state that in that school coexist students of many nationalities and are abundant cases of school children who have little command of the Spanish language, which, in the absence of educational support by the administration, they are considerably slowing their learning processes thereof, and by extension, the rest of students are schooled there.
The regional deputy PSOE, Isabel Casalduero is committed to parents of students to manage urgently this meeting to be the educational community which expose firsthand this problem, and that requires the implementation of measures to address this problem.
Meanwhile, Councilman IU remember that some time ago his political sent a formal complaint to the Ombudsman of Spain for a similar problem that also affected very sensitive to this center way.
At that time we denounced that public schools schooled and continue providing schooling virtually all immigrant pupils, while subsidized private schools only put her hand to take public money from the concerts and just schooled immigrants.
Both political representatives of PSOE and IU argue that should open a broad debate on education in Lorca, on the need to strengthen educational measures in those schools that enroll immigrant students who do not know the language, and also about the need to be managed in otherwise Lorca schooling students in schools.
