The City of Lorca and the Federation of Highlands organized on Sunday a route through the Espartaria Belt (31/03/2016)

Aldermen of Sports City of Lorca, Juan Francisco Martinez, along with the president of the Espartaria Federation Highlands Lorca, Bienvenida Fernández, presented the activities that the hand of the departments of Rural Development and Culture, the Autonomous Community and the Lorca-Santiago Association have organized as opening Espartaria Belt, an ecotourism trail through the districts high Lorca.

Martinez explained that specifically has been scheduled for next Sunday, April 3, a day of hiking, mountain biking, horseback ride and other activities in order to encourage the citizens of Lorca and other municipalities can learn and enjoy the new route that has been conditioned by the Leader of the European Union funds, channeled through the group Integral part of the Consistory Lorca.

The proposed activities includes a circular mountain bike 47 km, which will depart from the hamlet Lorca Aviles to reach the same starting point route, and a hiking trail of 13 km, departing from Doña Inés arrival to Aviles .

To this end there is provided a bus will depart at 7:30 am from the Sports Complex Felipe VI and another that will leave Aviles at 8:30 am.

The mayor of Sports explained that all those interested in participating should register before March 31 at 14:00 hours in the House of Sport Lorca, with free registration for federated with BTT license or mountaineering and 3 euros for those not federated.

In addition, Martinez reported that to complete this journey will be parallel activities such as riding a route by La Paca, Las Terreras and Avilés, which will start at 10:30 hours but such registration must call the phone 696 184 018. There will also be a display of archery and bocce at 12:30 hours;

and finally, lunch with wine tasting and giant barbecue for participants in activities or those who paid 5 euros, to which they give away a Espartaria bracelet craft designed by Naru.

The final party will be accompanied by Veronica Lozano, Manu Lozano, crews Zarcilla, Zarzadilla of Totana, and sevillanas group Zarcilla, along with CarpeDiem Association.
