Councilman Sports City of Lorca, Juan Francisco Martinez Carrasco, has announced that the jury ruled Sports Awards yesterday the winners of its twenty-second edition.
A total of 24 winners will receive their awards on 29 April at the Teatro Guerra, during the course of the traditional Gala of Sport Lorca.
The prize for best sportsman in absolute category was awarded to Fran Thomas Square, who won the bronze medal in the Championship of Beach Volleyball Spain Fuengirola held in last August.
He has also participated in several tests of the Open World Tour, highlighting the 5th place achieved in Sochi (Russia).
The prize for the best team of senior level has been for the Lorca Club Orienteering in Nature, who have been champions of the Division of Honor of the National Guidance League clubs walk 2015.
The best male athlete category promise has been the swimmer Juan Francisco Diaz Millan for his bronze medal in the Championship of Spain Junior in the 50-meter freestyle.

These were awarded to Peter Mondejar Mateo, creator of the methodology "Working for multievaluativos projects in Physical Education";
Eugenio Mateos Rodriguez, for his dedication over 20 years training at the Club del Barrio de San Cristobal;
Juan Bastida Ramirez, Lava Ocean champion Los Alcázares;
José María Sánchez Martínez, on his promotion to 1st Division arbitrator;
Jorge Moya Garcia, he appointed international arbitrator Beach Soccer;
Gabriel Chumillas Flécher, who finished the Salomon 4 Trail being the 4th Spanish in general;

The jury was composed by the Councillor for Sports, technicians of the Department and representatives of the sports media in the municipality.
