The Department of Public Safety announces a contest among students (14/04/2016)

Belen Perez explained that "regardless of whether an absolute winner, who will receive a Tablet, choose the contest will have two categories, one for students in 4th, 5th and 6th of Primary and one for 1 ° and 2nd secondary. So first prize for each category will receive a bicycle, a second prize will get a Pack Family Entertainment (bowling + food Taberna Real for four people) and a third prize for category four tickets will be selected cinema".

For this, the agents meet regularly and are in constant contact with schools and municipal services to ensure networking, in order to act in cases of truancy according to the protocol established by the Ministry of Education through the Regional Program Prevention, Monitoring and Control Truancy and Dropout Reduction;

act with intervention in criminal acts within the school;

act in relation to the use and possession of drugs, narcotics and psychotropic substances as well as monitor and act at the request of schools at risk behaviors and take special attention to bullying (bullying) and potential child sexual abuse.

Other topics that focus the action of the program is to monitor situations of abuse, intra-school violence, among others, and make informative, preventive and guidance talks in classrooms regarding topics of general interest to students, as knowledge of different standards, bylaws, Road Safety, etc., provided they can affect children.

Likewise, it collaborates with schools in conducting evacuation drills, at the same time ensuring compliance with the rules on security measures for schools.
