At the ceremony, the consistory will show its firm rejection of the agreement between the EU and Turkey in order to ensure humane, legal and responsible alternative, compliance with international conventions and directives and European legislation on asylum and shelter, respect for human rights at borders and guarantee the protection of people, especially the children and the most vulnerable.
The session will also commit to submit a motion to the next plenary session in which the demands of NGOs and social groups are collected, thus facilitating the guarantee of asylum for people who are already in the Spanish State remain to be addressed, facilitate the registration of refugees arriving to the municipality, greater sensitivity, better communication between the different administrations, recover funds from development cooperation and care programs for the population prior to the cuts foreign origin, make available to migrants and refugees resources also benefiting all people living in poverty and / or exclusion, the implementation of a training program for staff of public administrations serving in various services to migrants and refugees and performances in general about origin problems.
