The Bishop of Cartagena has accompanied this morning the mayor of Lorca, Francisco Jodar, and the president of the Autonomous Community, Pedro Antonio Sánchez, on a visit to the Asprodes association of Lorca, in connection with the expansion of its facilities.
During the visit, Mons. Lorca has blessed a picture of the Sacred Heart of Jesus, whom the work done in this promotion association for people with disabilities since 1978 is entrusted.
In the blessing, Bishop asked by users of this association, workers and supporters who make it possible Asprodes can continue to provide comprehensive care to people with mental disabilities or mental illness, offering a wide range of services and care programs and training for full social integration.
