The PSOE councilor in the city of Lorca, Nines Mazuecos has denounced the problem that many parents of students from various schools in the municipality have with increasing temperatures and solar radiation, thus demanding more points shaded area in schools and institutes of Lorca.

The most significant complaint has reached the Socialist Municipal Group during the last hours comes from parents CEIP Sacred Heart, who have expressed concern about the risk of students and teaching staff may suffer sunstroke, dizziness and / or episodes faintness, as happened during the past year in this center, by the lack of areas shaded area to relieve rising temperatures, given the dates on which we meet.

That is why so socialist mayor claims the city of Lorca that "sensitize the educational communities of the different sites claiming more points shaded area, so that according to their needs and on the recommendation of the municipal technicians, develop a protection plan to especially address the weeks remaining school year with all the guarantees ".

In addition, through this plan, from the PSOE seek the start in planning these actions for the start of next year, and subsequent years.

Among the proposals that arise from the Socialist Group, Nines Mazuecos out not only the possibility of installing fixed points of shaded area with the construction of pergolas, but also opt for planting more greenery in schoolyards, to take advantage of the shaded area of ​​trees large size, installing awnings and also "without forgetting the actions also necessary to lead the heat in those rooms in which, for their guidance, temperatures are higher during school hours".
