The Ministry of Economic Development, Tourism and Employment Development held this afternoon a working session organized by the Regional Employment Service and Training (SEF), in collaboration with Ceclor, Chamber of Commerce of Lorca, Guadalentin Embark and Saprelorca, to give learn about the services and support offered by the Community through service 'SEF companies'.
The director of the SEF, Alejandro Zamora, who spoke at the meeting, said that "the objective of this conference is to disseminate in the municipality care services to entrepreneurs and aid recruitment and entrepreneurship, and new tools linked to labor intermediation that offers counseling and those who seek to meet their needs. "
The total number of unemployed in the town of Lorca in the last year dropped by 667 persons, representing a decrease of 9.96 percent, from 6,697 in April 2015th 6,030 people in the same month this year.
The decline in registered unemployment was slightly better than the regional average, which fell in the last year by 9.84 percent.
The productive fabric of Lorca has at its disposal 'SEF companies', which develops work labor mediation, counseling, training and communication service.
At the meeting the activities of the Strategy for Entrepreneurship and Youth Employment addressed, through which the program 'Youth Guarantee' is developed and subsidies, rebates and other measures implemented by the SEF to promote exposed employment.
Zamora said lines specially aimed at young people and explained that "unemployment among people under 25 years in Lorca fell in the last year than in the rest of the population, 14.44 percent, leaving the figure young unemployed in April in 539 people. "
More jobs offered
He also stressed, "has increased the confidence of businesses and employing people of Lorca in the services of SEF for businesses. Proof of this are the 429 jobs for which specialized brokerage services were requested for 2015".
Between January and April this year 181 deals in the Office of SEF Lorca were presented, while in the same period last year was 107. This represents almost 70 percent more offers registradasen the first quarter of 2016 compared to same months of 2015.
Similarly, the number of jobs offered linked to these offers increased between January and April this year, a total of 270, while in the same period of 2015, 150 positions were tendered, representing an increase of 80 percent .
Employment Promotion
Among the tools township entrepreneurs have at their disposal, are grants for the promotion of permanent contracts, especially for people 45 or more years, long-term unemployed, and the conversion of training contracts into permanent ones.
These grants those aimed at young people under 30 are added.
This line is intended to grant full-time hiring young made through the traineeship.
Other grant lines are directed to the establishment of self-employed workers and to promote self-employment of young beneficiaries of the National Youth Guarantee System.
