Renewed the Standing Committee
The Permanent Commission, which is the small and representative organ of the Social Council to carry out the functions of the same on those issues that require urgency and agility has been made by Domingo Llamas (farmers), Hilario Lazarus (appointed by the Local Government ), Elisa Campoy (Bar), Antonio Garcia (CECLOR), Enrique Gonzalez (CCOO), Concepción Channels (NGOs, Red Cross) and Juan Bastidas (sports associations, Lorca Triathlon Club).
The mayor has indicated that this meeting served to account members of the advances in the Mobility Plan and its main key task of the Town Planning Councillor, Satur Martinez was responsible.

New impetus to the "Lorca Smart Social City" project, with a Master Plan.
Francisco Jodar has indicated that this meeting also served to boost one of the lines drawn by the study of "Defining Strategies for Economic Development and Employment, improving the quality of life and welfare of the city of Lorca."
This is the case of promoting Lorca as an open city that takes full advantage of the possibilities offered by new technologies.
Thus, it was decided to accentuate the actions that run parallel to the reconstruction process to form Lorca as "intelligent city (smart city)."
The mayor has stressed that relying on this process, and through the various regeneration projects and urban renewal, we are creating a new one that incorporates improvements aimed to consolidate our position as a city that adds citizen participation, environmental sustainability and new technologies information on the collective benefit.
To do the departments of Information Society and Citizen Participation, put in place a Director of Information Technology and Communications Plan which will aim to achieve implement the inspiring elements of smart cities in all actions undertaken by the Consistory.
This Master Plan outlined by the mayor of the Information Society, Juan Francisco Martinez, will work 4 Board committees responsible for the areas of Social Innovation, Government, Economics and Business, Energy and Environment, Infrastructure and Urban Quality .
EDUSI: The timing of the historic center.
The Mayor has indicated that in the Council meeting also reported that based on the results of Study Definition Strategies for Development of the Municipality, the city of Lorca has attended the European call for aid to the City Development Strategy sustainable Integrated to the town of Lorca, known as EDUSI.
Thanks to that we had such results, Lorca chooses a number of fundamental support for the present and future development of the municipality.
