Worship Peñas, Councilwoman Lorca IU-Green has lamented the lack of sensitivity of the government team in relation to the care of the most vulnerable children.
The mayor was speaking in relation to the opening of school meals during the summer months in several municipalities in the region of Murcia by their municipalities and authorized by the Ministry of Education.

From IU-Greens they have shown appalled by the situation of Lorca, which will have three summer schools offered by the Red Cross with school canteen and training ludic offer, while the City will not open kitchens, but will offer an aid of 125 euros per month to families who request it, as they did the previous year.
Peñas said that Lorca deserves more than what is being offered, as it is the third municipality in the region rated according to recent studies, such as the third municipality of poorest more than 50,000 people in Spain, in a context in which 51.4% of children live in Murcia risk of poverty or social exclusion.

From IU-Greens recall that this motion was presented in September to develop a project in good time and start on the Christmas holidays, but the PP showed its negative and its insensitivity to a matter of this importance, so regret this attitude and hope to rectify in time.
In another vein, Peñas has claimed the need for the opening of a second SUAP in Lorca after the closure of San Diego, showing their support for the statements and neighborhood events, and cited as an example the tragic event that occurred this Lorca same week when the SUAP of Totana had to move to Lorca to meet a person who had jumped from the third floor, since both the UME as SUAP Lorca were busy taking 30 minutes to serve.
