The Ministry of Water, Agriculture and Environment approved the tender for the works of a raft of regulation of 105,885 cubic meters, solar pumping and piping in the Community of Irrigators Campo de Lorca.
The project involves improving irrigation infrastructure of this community of irrigators located in the hamlet of La Paca.
The works consist of the construction of a raft of regulation with useful capacity of 105,885 cubic meters, a pumping station powered by solar photovoltaic and discharge pipe to connect the raft with the hydraulic network of the Community of Irrigators.
This action will correct and efficient regulation of the volume of water available, allowing storage of these resources in the periods when not needed for making available the Communards.
The modernization of the Community of Irrigators benefit 284 community members, and a surface irrigation of 435 hectares cultivated with olives, herbs, almonds and grapes.
The budget of the work amounts to 1,043,657 euros and will be financed by 63 percent Feader funds.
The deadline for submission of tenders is 26 calendar days from the day following the publication of the notice in the BORM, on 6 July.
These works are part of the modernization of irrigation infrastructure improvement and modernization of irrigation and General Irrigation Communities Irrigators Communities referred to in the RDP 2014-2020.
