The Ministry of Public Works and Infrastructure promotes the redevelopment of the neighborhood of Alameda de Cervantes of Lorca and its adjacent areas through the renovation of urban and service spaces, incorporating full accessibility and systems of intelligent remote management, and energy production renewable.

The Minister of Public Works and Infrastructures, Pedro Rivera, and the representative of the UTE FCC Construction SA and Confiparnet 2011 Sociedad Cooperativa, Juan Antonio Lopez, signed today the mixed contract writing project and execution of works of urban renewal in the neighborhood, whose investment amounts to 3,220,460 euros and has an execution period of 12 months.

The Minister said the Alameda de Cervantes "constitutes one of the main roads of the city to grab a great social, commercial activity and therefore a high volume of traffic, in addition to acting as the main access to the town from the south round from the city".
