Lorca will host for the first time the examination for obtaining the title of Pattern recreational craft (PER) (11/10/2016)

The test, which could only be done in Murcia or Cartagena, will take place at the institute Jose Ibanez Martin on Thursday 27 October at 18:30 h.

This is the result of an agreement between the City and the Directorate General of Ports of the CARM.

The Councillor for Culture of the City of Lorca, Augustine Llamas, with the Director General of Transport, Coast and Ports of the CARM, Salvador Garcia-Ayllón, reported that on Thursday October 27 the institute Jose Ibanez Martin will host, from 18:30 h, an extraordinary examination for obtaining the title of Pattern recreational craft (PER).

It is a milestone, since it will be the first time our city to host this event.

Llamas Gómez explained that before the success of the course about it, called "Security and Navigation in the sea," which carried out numerous Lorca in the program of activities being conducted by the People's University, he successfully petitioned the Directorate General of transport, Ports and Coasts CARM as an entity that manages the entrance exams recreational nautical qualifications, a resit the examination of PER especially aimed at students Course Boating Safety and Navigation People's University.

It is recalled that the Popular University included in the second quarter of this year, "I and Navigation Safety Course at Sea".

It is a proposal offered result of the interest expressed by multiple requests coming to the City by people who wanted to take this course in order to be able to sit the examination Pattern recreational craft (PER).

This test could be performed only in Murcia and Cartagena, under the supervision of the Directorate General for Transport, Ports and Coasts.

The mayor of Culture has stressed that this milestone is for the People's University offer the possibility of a new training activity aimed at bringing citizens to leisure at sea, to enrich and enhance leisure.

We must remember that this course, which is planned to repeat in new programming of the People's University has a duration of 90 hours of theory and 28 practical, during which participants study their own content for obtaining PER related to the nautical nomenclature , safety at sea, legislation, marking, emergency maneuver and navigation, meteorology and navigation charts ... the practices consist of 12 hours of radio and 16 hours of boating safety.

The CEO noted, meanwhile, that is the most demanded qualifications in the region, which year after year is credited with the number of applicants who attend examinations and exceeding more than 1,200 stakeholders.

Students must prove to have completed 18 years at the time the tests are carried out and submit the application for admission to examination to participate in convocation.

The form can be filled in and printed on the http://nautica.carm.es website.

After the examination and qualified, the tribunal shall state in the notice board of the Ministry, as well as the above website, the interlocutory notes of applicants, the annex will be available through the NIF of the person concerned.

This rating will not create law until the adoption of the final decision of notes, which will also be published in this bulletin and on the web.

The Ministry of Public Works and Infrastructure, through the Directorate General for Transport, Ports and Coasts, held every year three ordinary and extraordinary calls of nautical titles.

So far there have been two ordinary calls for access to qualifications Captain yacht, Skipper Yacht pattern pleasure craft, Pattern for basic navigation and pattern Moto Nautica 'A' and 'B', and an extraordinary, held for students at the University of Murcia and the Polytechnic University of Cartagena for certification of pleasure craft pattern.

On November 20 the third ordinary session of nautical titles at the Faculty of Economics and Business campus of Espinardo in Murcia will be held.
