MASS hosting an exhibition of paintings and sculptures by Vicente Ruiz and Angel Espinosa (03/11/2016)

The President of Paso Blue, José María Miñarro, and the President of the Paso Azul Foundation, Andres Espinosa, with artists Vicente Ruiz and Angel Espinosa, presented the exhibition of painting and sculpture both creators who will be inaugurated on Friday at 20.30 hours in Room Temporary Exhibition MASS, Blue Museum of Easter.

The exhibition includes 10 paintings and 10 sculptures Vicente Ruiz Espinosa Angels, so it is a mixed sample that will appeal to all lovers of art.

The exhibition will be visitable until next December 4 at the same time the Blue Museum of Easter.

Vicente Ruiz (Lorca, 1941) started painting in Paris in the 60s Throughout his career he has had solo exhibitions in Murcia, Valencia, Bilbao, Elche, Alicante, Madrid, Barcelona or New York and participated in exhibitions in San Sebastián, Crevillente or Santander.

His pictorial creations have been transformed over the decades, coming from the experimentation of abstract and creative transformation and converting the color in the title of the work.

In recent years, Ruiz creations have tended to abstract and a more spiritual and lyrical work.

Remember that the painter is a recognized blue even marched in processions during his youth.

Similarly, and in exhibitions, he participated in the 80 in a group exhibition with fifteen painters in the church of San Francisco, while in 2012 he held an exhibition in Lorca, the last you made in the city, organized Step by Blue Foundation and benefit from the rehabilitation of San Francisco after the earthquake of May 2011.

Angeles Espinosa (Lorca, 1955) has a degree in Fine Arts specializing in Sculpture from the Faculty of San Fernando in Madrid.

She taught modeling and casting at the School of Applied Arts and Crafts in Murcia and since 2011 is Professor of Volume of the School of Design of Murcia.

His recent exhibitions have taken their works to galleries and art centers in Cieza, Murcia or Madrid.

Similarly, it has made monumental sculptures that can be seen in Jumilla, at the Polytechnic University of Alicante in Orihuela, or trophies for various awards and competitions such as the Bullfight Murcia.

In his work creativity and intelligence are at the service modeling to create sculptures seemingly simple but characterized by high technical complexity.

Despite being born in Lorca this will be his first exhibition in the city.
